Cafe Zara: The Cafe that Has it All
Cafe Zara is an incredible coffee house located right in East Providence, RI. They have amazing food, a lively atmosphere, and great service. What’s even more incredible about Cafe Zara is that they opened up in the middle of a pandemic.
Cafe Zara opened up in June of 2020. They have a huge range of food and drink options and they are often adding different items to the menu depending on the season. They post a lot of the new items they have on their Instagram if you are interested in seeing what new things they may have. I was honestly really surprised about how much they offered because a lot of times, cafes don’t have a giant selection, but Cafe Zara does. For drinks, they have everything from hot chocolate to coffee to teas. They even have a RI Iced Latte that is made with Autocrat coffee syrup, which I thought was so cool! They also have some flavored iced tea like passion fruit spritz and pineapple basil fizz. For food, they have breakfast sandwiches, toast, salads, fruit bowls, the list goes on and on. The turkey sandwich was absolutely amazing and pretty inexpensive. The banana-bee toast is also so good and it even looks pretty! It is toast covered with peanut butter, bananas, blueberries, wildflower honey, chia seeds, and cinnamon. Absolutely delicious.
There is some limited seating available at Cafe Zara and I highly recommended eating there if you can. There’s a little bar with stools right by the window, a bunch of little circle tables with chairs, and even some nice outdoor seating right outside the cafe. There are plants everywhere and it gives off a very aesthetic vibe, which I love. It is a place where you could meet up with friends for breakfast or lunch, or you could go to get some work done. The cafe does have WIFI so if you have some work to do, you could definitely bring your laptop, do some work and drink some delicious coffee. When I went, there was a pretty decent mixture of people doing work and meeting up with friends, so it is a great place for both. If you want to just pick something up, they do have online ordering available on their website so you get your food quickly when you arrive.
I’m so glad I found out about Cafe Zara because it is going to be my new go-to coffee shop. There are just so many options that I’m going to have to keep going back to try them all! Definitely go check them out to try some delicious food and drinks.
