Pride Carnival

Come one, come all, to a Pride-full carnival you’ll never forget!
Get pride temporary tattoos, snap a pic at our photo station, and spin the prize wheel! Most importantly, check out all the LGBTQIA+ recs our booksellers put together: picture books, graphic novels, teen and young adult: we’ve got them all at Bank Square Books.
A children’s storytime will commence at 3PM to close the festivities. Masks are preferred.
A portion of in-store sales during the month of June will be going towards outCT and Youth Pride, Inc.
About outCT
OutCT is a 501c3 non-profit organization established in 2013 by a diverse group of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queers and their allies in Southeastern Connecticut to plan a New London Pride Festival. They quickly realized they had enough interest and energy to do more. In addition to a pride festival, OutCT has planned an art exhibit, film series, educational forums, drag shows, and a youth program.
About Youth Pride, Inc.
Youth Pride, Inc. is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of youth and young adults impacted by sexual orientation and gender identity/expression while working to end the homophobic and transphobic environments in which they live, work and play. Youth Pride Inc. is the only nonprofit in Rhode Island specifically dedicated to meet the needs of LGBTQIA+ Youth 23 and under.
