Bank Square Books presents an author signing with Paul DiPietro for the book The Adventures of Auggie Otter: It’s Ok To Be You.
Auggie Otter coverAbout the Book
When Auggie Otter realizes that the other Sea Creatures might see him as a bit different, he worries. The very things he likes to do the best-collect and categorize shells, and spin round and round to feel a sense of calm-these seem to be the reason the other children don’t like him. As Auggie journeys through an undersea world, his mother teaches him that we are all special, we are all unique, and “it’s okay to be you.”

A book for anyone who has ever felt judged because they are different. Follow sweet Auggie through the beautifully illustrated pages to see how everyone does things differently. Discover that it is our differences that make us who we are, and it’s okay to be you.
