Bank Square Books presents an in store reading of James Waine Carpenter’s latest book, Love, Fidelity, or Lack Thereof. James Waine Carpenter will be in attendance at this event, but the reading will be done by selected readers to do chosen excerpts.
This event is in partnership with Hydropalooza Productions, who is producing a Feb 16, 2024 event at the Granite Theatre called, Love, Fidelity, or Lack Thereof which will be an evening of storytelling, art, comedy, and a musical performance by The Carleans.

James Waine Carpenter (aka Jim Carpenter) is a writer, songwriter, musician, and music producer residing on the southeastern shore of Connecticut. Born on Chincoteague Island, Virginia, he has lived in Norfolk, Cape May, Key West, Miami and Nashville. James currently makes his home in the Village of Niantic, where he writes, records, and tours with The CarLeans, The Hoolios, and Southern Fiction.
Forsaken, Florida (scheduled for release in March 2023) is the fourth collection of short fiction (Box Of Sin, Jubilee, and Oyster) to be released . . . including the novella, Black Narrows.
His stories have appeared in various magazines and are mirrored in song among twelve albums of original music recorded and published by his record company, LOCO DARE Music.
