About the Author

Emily Wakeman Cyr is a lifelong New Englander. She has degrees in English and Education from Quinnipiac University and the University of Connecticut. She taught reading and writing in public schools before becoming a stay-at-home mom, a role that quickly transformed to stay-at-home writer. She and her husband and three children divide their time between their home in the woods of rural Connecticut and their home away from home in Brewster, MA on Cape Cod.
