Join Westerly Anti-Racism Coalition (ARC) and Westerly Library & Wilcox Park as we discuss The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together by Heather McGhee. Copies of the book will be on hold at the circulation desk. Teens and adults are encouraged to check out a copy and take part in this four-part conversation designed to bring us all together in an effort to make positive change in our community. ARC members, including David Madden, April Dinwoodie, Leslie Dunn, Tim Flanagan, and Anne Pearce, will be leading these thought-provoking discussions. Registration is required. In the upcoming weeks, the weekly agenda will be shared with registrants.
