Aida Rodriguez is a writer/performer, comedian, activist and Mother. She made history as the first Latina to appear in two comedy specials airing in the same month on both HBO and Showtime. Aida was handpicked by director Taylor Hackford for his film The Comedian starring Robert De Niro. Most recent her stand-alone episode on Tiffany Haddish’s They Ready executive produced by Tiffany Haddish & Wanda Sykes was well received and viewed on the platform. Aida’s first one- hour comedy special Fighting Words is set to premiere this fall on HBO Max.

Aida recently closed a deal with Warner Media to produce her own show. She will write, executive produce and star. Chris Case, Nastaran Dibai and Tiffany Haddish are also on board to executive produce. Show is currently untitled. Aida has appeared on Comedy Central’s The Nightly Show, five- time host of the PBS Imagen Awards, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, TRUtv’s Laff Tracks, Fox Laughs, Nickelodeon Mom’s Night Out and Parental Discretion.
